In the lane
Insults are blistering.
A horrible sight
We’re miserable tonight.
Spent another year with a Narcissist.
Gone away
Is the Happy.
Here to stay
Is the Crappy.
He moans and he blames
He curses and shames.
Spent another year with a Narcissist.
In the distance we can see a new life.
We pretend that we cannot achieve.
In denial we say it’s not too bad.
And spend another year afraid to leave.
If we’re lucky
He’ll get frisky
As we toss back the whisky.
We sold our soul
To the Devil we know
Spent another Year with a Narcissist.
